That's all folks!
What are your picks?
Please share, it would be no fun without you!!!
The compilation is a great idea. I had forgotten that you had reviewed so many in demand items. Thanks again for all of your hard work!
ReplyDeleteI know! These are some great reviews. I'm working on my post right now. There's so much amazing stuff on there that I had to make two posts just for the new arrivals.
DeleteThanks so much ajc, your reviews are great!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks AJC - I am anxious to hear what you thought of the brocade and i missed the peplum jacket this am!
ReplyDeleteJust posted a review for you!
DeleteGreat reviews AJC. I loved the Grandpa pants in the wool check on you .The fit was perfect and I can't find them online today. The top and capri in navy tweed look great .You could pop a turtleneck under it for a different look. Have you ever tried the sterling skirt ?
ReplyDeleteThanks
Thanks Marsha, I think Granpa pants are part of the next rollout. I tried the Sterling skirt last year but the fit was a disaster on me, way too big in the hips when the waist fitted.
DeleteBut I have some hope, because I just chatted with CS and this year's measurements are different. I just posted it on JCA but here it goes:
Lenght (old 25.25, new 23.625)
Waist (old 29.25, new 29.125)
Hip (old 40, new 38.75)
Sweep (old 46, new 42.75)
So the new skirt is indeed shorter and a straighter cut. This is good news for me, but those who loved the last year's fit may be disappointed.
I forgot to state that the measurements are for size 4.
DeleteThanks for the measurements .
DeleteI'd love to try that sterling skirt, I love the pencil skirt, but I burst out of it in the belly when I sit down, it's great for nights out but not for everyday.
DeleteI love these round-ups -- they are so easy-to-read and helpful! I'm looking forward to finally getting to a store to try some new things out. I haven't been able to get there as much as usual (probably a good thing). :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for pairing the catalog photo with the real-life photo of each item! That method gives me a much better idea of what the clothing really looks like. I often wonder if I am off in J Crew La La Land when I see things in the store -- they often look yummy in the photos and yucky in reality
ReplyDeletei ADORE the collection #2 pencil skirt on you! omg, it is gorgeous on you. i think it is the fit and length that is perfect! and in your last post, the grandpa pants are gorgeous too. in fact i'm clicking over to j. crew right now to check them out. thanks for all this hard work, as i've said before you should be on their payroll!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you Janet!
DeleteThe pants are I think part of the next rollout. I just posted a review of the skirt.
Thanks ajc
ReplyDeleteOh me oh my! so many fabulous reviews! What a great summary ajc :)
ReplyDeleteTasia
The tie top in navy tweed is my fave item on your list so far. I adore that hen tippi too - but not for $95!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the reviews? Do you remember the price of the navy/maroon sequin top you tried on?
ReplyDelete$148. Just posted a review.
DeleteYou look ADORABLE in the hen sweater!

ReplyDeleteThis compilation is a great idea, ajc! I think I'm inspired to start my own now, but I'll credit you for the idea!
