If you don't know it by now

$198, 100% silk, size 8

This will be a quick post and I apologize if this is redundant for many of you, but I have been repeatedly linking to my Flickr images I posted before I started this blog.  To make it easier,  I thought I will post some of them here and in the future refer to this blog instead.

I took those pictures at the end of January, but many of these items are still not in stores. Some are already online, but I thought it is still worth to have irl pictures. Also see the catalog images for the paisley skirt and blouse from beautiful Slastena of  About All and Nothing at All blog HERE.

On model
Not so hot on yours truly, lol.

100% Silk.  Print is very pretty.

Another longer pencil skirt

Paisley skirt

Model, I am assuming at least 5'10

But the skirt is not as long and I am only 5'6 wth?

$148

Linen Attache style Dress $158

Crinkle chiffon skirt size 8

Director Dress Size 6

Red eyelet pencil

If you haven't seen it yet, you can click HERE and browse through the pictures, there is much more, I think I took close to 70 pictures and included comments on fit, fabric, prices, etc.

  2. I really love the new paisley pencil skirt- glad it's not quite as long as on the model! I like a long pencil skirt, but ankle length not so much!

    1. you have a point here, i like those midi lengths in theory but they are hard to pull of irl, so easy to slip into dumpy frumpy category, but still I wish that at least on the website, if not in the catalog, they would put models in retail version of clothes and note the size they are wearing and their height.

  3. i think these pencil skirts are just too long. but what do i know? and i'm with you on pattern matching. i think for the price they should match the pattern up on the seams. it's just sloppy workmanship in my opinion, but again, what do i know?

thanks so much for the hard work that went into these posts.

    1. Janet, I agree. It woudl definitely help to wear heels, being barefoot certainly doe not help with dowdiness. On the other hand, looking at both images you can tell that many times they are selling us a dream of who and where we want to be, right?
Pattern matching or lack of it is my pet peeve, esp at this price point.

  4. The Director Dress looks lovely on you! I'm not feeling the prints and colors as much this round, alas. They're just what I would reach for, so at least my wallet is safe. :)
