Do you plan on ordering anything?

I have a review of the skirt below coming soon:

No. 2 pencil skirt in deck stripe

This skirt  appeared in my May preview post. Looks interesting but the price... Ouch!

Neon-stripe skirt

Update: I just read a copy and realized that the Neon-stripe skirt is poly. $425 for polyester skirt? I don't think so.

Nothing else catches my eye at this moment , but I yesterday I checked the newest summer collection and I will have reviews of some exciting not-yet-online pieces coming soon, so please stop by to check them out.

That's all folks!

  1. Thank you, ajc! Your posts are so helpful. It's funny - usually things look so much better on the models than in real life, but I think all of these things look better in your photos than online. I wouldn't have liked the porcelain paisley skirt if I hadn't seen your photos first.

  2. I appreciate your reviews and I did buy the porcelain paisley skirt but nothing else. Really bored with J.Crew lately.

    1. hi xoxo, I hope you review the skirt on your blog, your reviews are always great! How did the Altuzarra dress work for you?

  3. I tried and bought the Ring Around Eyelet top, your review helped. I love it. Have you tried on any of the new sandals or shoes yet? A lot of those have caught my attention. Our stores don't get many shoes so I rarely get to try them on without ordering.

    1. I will try some shoes next time I am in store. I am not a big fan of J.Crew shoes with few exceptions (hello Valentinas), they are very uncomfortable for me and way overpriced for the quality.

  4. I love the Tiered dot and Ring Around the Eyelet tops. I've been patiently waiting for a promo though.

  5. Thanks for noticing that the skirt is poly! I think it's almost deceptive to label it collection and charge so much considering people will automatically assume it's silk (which it totally should be). I love your blog! :]

    1. I agree, even if they state it in the despription, many people would make an assumption based on Collection label and the price.

  6. I loved that striped cardy on you, could get some use from that. Love how you do this - the model then you. That skirt is fab but too pricey for what it is, you're right!

    1. Tahnks ALW! I would look for oher labels in this price range. It will be on sale for $199 I bet, but even that is a lot for a poly skirt. It did look very pretty in the window display.

  7. The item I still like the best/most is the porcelain paisley skirt.

Wow, what a price for poly. That's amazing.

Thanks for your ever awesome reviews :)
